Yesterday we looked at the Guess Who’s American Woman and it’s more recent cover attempt by Lenny Kravitz.  

 Today it’s the Red Hot Chili Peppers attempting to do justice to Stevie Wonder’s “Higher Ground.”  After watching the videos voice your opinion and let it be heard by clicking on comments and leaving one below.

It came to my attention one afternoon when talking with Greg “3rd Degree” Burns and he mentioned he was listening to my show on KOOL and had no clue that the Red Hot Chili Peppers did a cover of “Love Rollercoaster.”  That continued into a converstaion that Billy Preston’s final recording before he passed was with the Chili Peppers latest album “Venus and Mars” (2006 Album of the Year)…  There are a lot of songs we play at KOOL that have been ripped off and copied by numerous different artists.  Click on the category Covers to get the most current postings about this topic.
