So aside from my duties as host of the overnight show at KOOL-FM I have addidtional duties.  I am the Assistant Program Director for KOOL and for our sister station KMLE Country 108.  The job mainly consists of sending a lot of e-mails trying to look imporatant and causing more problems than solving. 

Anyway… the other day I received an e-mail from a DJ asking about part time work.  Sweet!  Anyone who wants to be part of the KOOL family is a friend and always receives a reply.  However, a suggestion to anyone looking for work anywhere…  When someone replys to an e-mail and gets a bounce back that reads:

Your mail to the following recipients could not be delivered because they are not accepting mail from ANBland@cbs.com:

 …there is a good chance you won’t be contacted again.

Happy job hunting and remember as a wise man, Norm Ginsburg (former VP of Sales for CBS for over 30 years) said… “The phone is your most powerful tool… don’t be afraid to use it.”

I personally think that a high speed train from Phoenix to San Diego and from Phoenix to Las Vegas would be great.  Do you agree?  Would you even travel on a high speed train?  They do in Europe and Japan… 

The wife and I spent a week in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada reecntly…  Here are a couple photos that I hope you enjoy.  One is taken from the side of the Sea to Sky highway on the way to Whistler.  The other is of Whistler Mountain.  The skiing mecca of North America.  I have the 2nd as my wallpaper for my computer in my home recording studio.  Feel free to download them if you like.
